Presentation

François Boisrond is a French painter born in 1959 in Boulogne-Billancourt. He studied at the National Superior School of Decorative Arts and joined Di Rosa, Combas and Blanchard in the 'Free Figuration" movement. He teaches painting at the School of Fine Arts of Paris since 1999.

In the beginning, François Boisrond evolved into a figurative universe, representing daily life, urban landscapes, portraits and self-portraits in a pure and colorful way. Fraçois Boisrond's work have been the object of numerous exhibtions, in particular at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Bordeaux in 1985, at the Pompidou Center in 2007 and at the Paul Valéry Museum in Sète in 2015.
